Spring 2025 in Bowling Green

Spring 2025 in Bowling Green has been like an extremely difficult and confused maiden who can’t make up her mind about what blessings she wants to bestow on worldly creatures and who keeps vacillating between being hot and cold while staying consistently windy. I would probably not court such a spoiled and stormy maiden if I were a bachelor. Nevertheless, at times this exasperating Spring maiden can be so drop-dead gorgeous while showing off her floral blooms and while enveloping the earth under a magnificently blue sky that her earthly beauty would absolutely melt my heart. Here are such rare moments.

The entire Bowling Green’s downtown and Western Kentucky University were profusely bedecked with cherry blossoms everywhere one looked.

Here is Holy Spirit Catholic Church depicted on a beautiful Spring morning.

This beautiful moment didn’t last longer than 24 hours because the next morning brought signs of a violent thunderstorm followed by tornado warnings.

Finally, James and the Bulldog Beat choir and band performed in a Spring concert at Rich Pond Elementary School. Here is a small clip from a one-hour concert.

About David and Lam

A smitten couple and loving parents in our early 40s. We have lived in 3 different countries together. We dream of living in a fourth country together after our children grow up. We love long walks in the woods, climbing mountains, boating, traveling, reading, and being together. Both David and Lam are old souls who love quietness and meaningful conversations in which we ponder the truth and mysteries of life as well as discuss philosophical and ethical matters. We especially like to enjoy the small pleasures of daily life.
