Kentucky State Parks

There are 50 state parks in Kentucky which include large land areas situated around all the rivers, lakes, mountains, and caves that Kentucky has to offer.

Living and working in Lexington, we believe it is important to balance our urban lifestyle with activities in the wide open space in natural settings.  We do not want to take for granted the beautiful natural world we live in. We wish to remain in an active physical and mental state.  We believe in the revitalizing value of getting away from boxes and routine. We just wish we could soon afford the time and resources to travel further away to National Parks around the country.
