First thing first, Joie de Vivre’s definition according to three colossal online sources:
1. Wikipedia: (joy of living) a French phrase often used in English to express a cheerful enjoyment of life; an exultation of spirit, i.e. joy of conversation, joy of eating, joy of anything one might do.
2. Merriam-Webster Dictionary: keen or buoyant enjoyment of life.
3. Dictionary.com: a delight in being alive; keen, carefree enjoyment of living.
For me, Joie de Vivre is the gentle feeling of well-being created by the appreciation of the simple pleasures of daily life. I want to document these simple pleasures here so I will always remember to recreate them.
