Here are pictures we’ve collected of us and the scenes in and around the area we live in (and us being us – sometimes quite ridiculous – in them). Field just next to our building near dusk. We love it because it is so rare in Saigon, so quiet and a nice reminder of countrysides we’ve been in (including just outside my home town in Kansas!).

Same field – shot taken from the small hill in the field. Our building is just in frame on the right.

Another ‘country’ shot of Jacob – this time more pensive. This and the previous one were both taken on a stroll in the park two blocks from our place.

Bi and Jacob feeding the fish – at the park just across from our place. Ba Ngoai (Bi’s mom) supervising the proceedings.

Jacob loving his float. This and the next photo of Bi were both taken in the pool at our building. We’re there everyday on the weekend and 1-2 times during the week. Fantastic in this climate.

Don’t know which is more colorful. This car was parked out back of our building – snapped this on an early evening walk around our place.

Don’t leave me out! I want to be ridiculous too! (This is my best ‘sassy-teenage-girl taking photo by the river’ shot). This was taken next to the river near our place.
