Gone Fishing for 11th Anniversary Celebration

To celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary, we took the kids fishing at Jacobson park not too far from our home. It was both stressful and fun, if that is possible. David is very fond of fishing and was very eager to introduce the hobby to Jacob. Jacob got bored with the waiting at first but became much more interested after he himself caught a fish. Jacob’s fish was a small one, so we had to let him or her back in the lake.

James was after the fishing poles the whole time and would cry and throw himself onto the grass for dramatic effect if we try to stop him. It was sort of stressful to go fishing with James.

We look forward to many more fishing trips together at the many lakes in state reservoirs around Lexington.

About David and Lam

A smitten couple and loving parents in our early 40s. We have lived in 3 different countries together. We dream of living in a fourth country together after our children grow up. We love long walks in the woods, climbing mountains, boating, traveling, reading, and being together. Both David and Lam are old souls who love quietness and meaningful conversations in which we ponder the truth and mysteries of life as well as discuss philosophical and ethical matters. We especially like to enjoy the small pleasures of daily life.
