Our fun began on Halloween Eve after Daddy’s day-long meeting in Bowling Green when we started carving one of our pumpkins. The cut-out pattern was designed by Jacob with help by Daddy. Both Jacob and Daddy executed the carving. Mommy and James gathered around for morale support. Before going to bed, we took time admiring our funky lit-up pumpkin.
This year David took the boys trick-or-treating on Lebanon Ave, the residential street lined with big houses right outside our sub-division. People loved the boys’ pirate costumes.
To cap off a bustling day, James, Daddy and Mommy kneaded the dough and baked whole wheat buttermilk biscuits for breakfast the next morning. They were hearty and yummy!
