Fourth of July Parade in Campbellsville, KY

We enjoyed the festivities and fireworks in our town on July 4th. The parade on Main Street was certainly most interesting and entertaining!

Below are some of the good, bad, beautiful and ugly of the parade.

The Military Procession

The Farmers and Firefighters

The Classic Cars

The Boston Tea Ship

I’m not sure why there are Native Americans onboard.

The Boys

Our boys are not parts of the parade. They are reading their comic books newly acquired from the comics store on Main Street. Jacob bought these books with his own money.

About David and Lam

A smitten couple and loving parents in our early 40s. We have lived in 3 different countries together. We dream of living in a fourth country together after our children grow up. We love long walks in the woods, climbing mountains, boating, traveling, reading, and being together. Both David and Lam are old souls who love quietness and meaningful conversations in which we ponder the truth and mysteries of life as well as discuss philosophical and ethical matters. We especially like to enjoy the small pleasures of daily life.
