Toyota Factory in Georgetown, KY

We had a fun learning time touring the Toyota factory in Georgetown, KY. The guided tour took 1 hour, and all the boys enjoyed seeing all the machines, robots and work being done on the assembly line.

About David and Lam

A smitten couple and loving parents in our early 40s. We have lived in 3 different countries together. We dream of living in a fourth country together after our children grow up. We love long walks in the woods, climbing mountains, boating, traveling, reading, and being together. Both David and Lam are old souls who love quietness and meaningful conversations in which we ponder the truth and mysteries of life as well as discuss philosophical and ethical matters. We especially like to enjoy the small pleasures of daily life.

Good Morning Lam, David, Jacob and James! THANK YOU so much for sharing the pictures and information about the Toyota plant. I had no idea it enjoyed such a unique status. Please tell Jacob and James I’m thinking of and praying for them as they begin school tomorrow. I subbed at King Middle School in Harrodsburg last Thursday afternoon and will sub there again all day this Thursday and Friday for 2 different teachers. Very thankful for the opportunity. I could have subbed tomorrow afternoon for a half day at the high school but am already planning to meet with Uncle Gary and Aunt Carol Lippe at the Cracker Barrel at 1 p.m. in Danville. We’ve had these plans in place for almost 2 weeks. I’ll get to see their RV too! They are heading back from Illinois towards home in North Carolina. Have a wonderful day! Love, Mom/Cheryl/Grammie
