My birthday celebration was delayed due to James’ two weeks of illness. We eventually managed to celebrate it properly at Brasserie Province in Louisville where we enjoyed award-winning Southern French cuisine. It’s a spacious and calm restaurant tastefully decorated in French style. A cozy fireplace blazed merrily in a corner. Huge pots of herb plants welcomed us as we walked through the door. The French owner walked around talking to his customers. He gave us suggestion of the best wine to go with the seafood dishes we ordered.
Before we lunched at Brasserie Province, we sat and read our books for a long while at Scarlet’s Bakery. We learned that this bakery is a religious charity whose proceeds support women who want to get out of the adult entertainment industry.
Cheers to another year of being here on this lovely planet Earth!
