For two siblings who are far apart in age, Jacob and James play remarkably well together. They have tremendous fun together every single day, which animates the house and enlivens the two “old souls” living with them. Together with their Dad, they form “The Three Stooges” in our home. Jacob adores his brother and seems to remain younger than his age in spirit and in certain demeanor. James admires his older brother and appears more mature than his age in behavior and knowledge although he remains little in physical stature.

Jacob and James are very fond of and attached to each other. Neither one of them has missed their school friends throughout this whole social-distancing period. James misses some of his school activities and his teachers. As an introvert who loves home and family above all others, Jacob doesn’t miss school at all. We are so happy that they are such sweet bros and great pals right now. As we all know, life will probably end up taking them far away from each other at some point, and all this will become distant memory.
