Taylor Ranch is a recreational spot up high near the mountains in North Carolina. We went there to hang out with other Edward Jones families during our North Carolina trip. The views from there are breath-taking: lofty mountains floating in cloud rings to one side; and the calm, glassy lake on the other side. Jacob got to roast marshmallows and fish at the lake. He caught a fish. James got to pet a horse and chase after a cow belonging to the farm next door.

However, what is most memorable about our time there is Jacob and James being so sweet to each other in front of the lake.
