Happy Halloween 2014

For Halloween this year, Jacob was the same skeleton zombie he was last year.  He can still fit in the costume and is still quite fascinated by zombies.

For trick-or-treating, David wore his circle glasses, drew a thunderbolt on his forehead, and instantly became Harry Potter.  Jacob helped complete Daddy’s costume by picking out a wand/stick from the grass right outside our apartment. Kids at the mall were very excited when they “recognized” David as Harry Potter.

David and Jacob went trick-or-treating at the mall because the weather was cold and windy.  They had a great time handing out candies to children and got to see some very creative costumes–man wearing giant baby head, Star Wars family, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz in a hot air balloon, etc.  Another fun Halloween for Jacob!

Here are the boys at the mall:

About David and Lam

A smitten couple and loving parents in our early 40s. We have lived in 3 different countries together. We dream of living in a fourth country together after our children grow up. We love long walks in the woods, climbing mountains, boating, traveling, reading, and being together. Both David and Lam are old souls who love quietness and meaningful conversations in which we ponder the truth and mysteries of life as well as discuss philosophical and ethical matters. We especially like to enjoy the small pleasures of daily life.
