Our Tannenbaum 2015 – The Craziest One Ever!

When David finally finished his work the afternoon before Christmas Eve, all the Christmas trees in Campbellsville were sold out. We didn’t feel like getting a fake tree. So, David thought of creating a light tree by clipping our Christmas light strings onto the closed curtain of our living room window.

On Christmas Eve, after coming back from the Feast of the Nativity service at Christ Church Cathedral, David and Jacob put up the light. When that was done, we went outside into the dark front yard to check the effect. Our light tree glowed nicely!

It would be hard for passersby to make certain of the identity of the illuminating source. But we thought that was part of the puzzling charm. We were satisfied. We were especially thrilled that our light tree cost us no money because the butterfly clips came from David’s office.

About David and Lam

A smitten couple and loving parents in our early 40s. We have lived in 3 different countries together. We dream of living in a fourth country together after our children grow up. We love long walks in the woods, climbing mountains, boating, traveling, reading, and being together. Both David and Lam are old souls who love quietness and meaningful conversations in which we ponder the truth and mysteries of life as well as discuss philosophical and ethical matters. We especially like to enjoy the small pleasures of daily life.
