Summer STEM Program at the US Naval Academy

We found out this week that Jacob got accepted to the Summer STEM Program at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Selection is based on grades, class ranking, extracurricular activities and a personal statement.

As a public college, the United States Naval Academy is ranked #1 in the country, and their undergraduate engineering program is ranked #5 nationwide in 2021. We are visiting and touring this university campus on our upcoming Spring break trip to Annapolis and Washington D.C..
