Well, it’s that time of year again – putting the tree up, listening to the classics (Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, The Chipmunks), shopping for gifts, decking out the house, Jacob’s Christmas concert, Christmas parties, wrapping gifts, getting stressed about gifts, wondering if you got the right gift, and so on.
Jacob is very excited and looks forward to the daily countdown to Christmas. He even asked if the elves go to the mall to buy toys for Santa to give to children. We told him that the elves make toys out of wood, and he said ‘But children don’t play with toys made from wood’.
Good point.
Anyway, it’s fun around the house – James has no idea what’s going on, but it’s his first Christmas and we all want it to be an ejoyable one. We plan on taking it very easy on Christmas day (and watching Star Wars films – our new Christmas tradition).
Below are pictures of us and the house in preperation for Christmas.
